Sustainability

Sustainability in the textile industry requires a holistic approach that reduces environmental impact at every stage, from raw material selection to production processes, energy use, and waste management. At Marks & Style, we place environmentally responsible and controlled production at the core of our operations.
Water management plays an important role in our production processes. Wastewater generated from our steaming machine and other processes is handled under an official wastewater agreement and disposed of in compliance with regulations, ensuring environmental control.

Reactive digital printing provides significant sustainability advantages compared to traditional screen-based systems. It enables controlled dye usage, reduces excess sampling, and supports demand-based production, minimizing stock surplus risks and improving resource efficiency.

High wash durability and long product lifespan achieved through the chemical bonding of reactive dyes also contribute to sustainability by slowing down the consumption cycle.

We prioritize natural and cellulosic fabrics such as cotton, linen, viscose, Tencel™ (Lyocell), and bamboo, supporting more conscious material choices. For us, sustainability is not a trend but the foundation of our long-term partnerships and production philosophy.

Our OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification confirms that our dyes and production processes comply with international safety standards. Our fabrics and prints are tested against harmful azo dyes, heavy metals, formaldehyde, and other substances that may pose risks to human health.

The dyes used in our reactive digital printing processes are selected in accordance with OEKO-TEX® criteria and regularly audited. The annual renewal of our certification guarantees the continuity of our quality and safety standards.
